FAA Update on Sequestration

Today, the FAA provided an update on its plans for sequestration. In a letter to major airport organizations, Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and FAA Administrator Michael Huerta reviewed specific details of the FAA’s plans to reduce its budget by approximately $600 million for FY 2013, including information on furloughs and facility closures.
